Valkaria Gardens blossomed from one man's vision to educate and spread his love for rare, vibrant foliage. Founded in 1988 by Dr. B. Frank Brown and Cleofar "Clay" Millare, the original Valkaria Gardens on Corey Road in Valkaria evolved into the renowned Valkaria Tropical Gardens.
After two years of laborious work, Dr. Brown and Clay unveiled the gardens to the public. The company strives to offer easy access to a stunning array of rare and exotic foliage and flowering plants from around the world. Continuing Dr. Brown's legacy in 2015, this verdant tropical haven marked the inception of today's Valkaria Gardens LLC, managed by Clay and his partner Timothy Laudermilk.
Despite the passing of Timothy Laudermilk in 2017, his spirit lives on in every bloom and every leaf of Valkaria Gardens. Clay carries forward their shared dream with unwavering dedication, ensuring that the gardens remain a testament to their passion for botanical beauty. With each visit, guests are not only welcomed into a world of enchanting flora but also into a legacy of love and devotion to nature's wonders.
